Join us in Gaucín as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the renowned Festival Flamenco del Corcho del Valle del Genal! To mark this special milestone, we’re expanding the festival to three exciting days filled with music, dance, and Andalusian passion. Don’t miss this vibrant cultural experience from Thursday, July 24th to Saturday, July 26th.
Thursday, July 24 at 22:00h
The festival opens with a performance by students from the Rocío Jiménez Academy. The evening continues with a captivating flamenco show by Rocío Jiménez herself( From Triana, resident in Gaucín) accompanied by the talented Peralta Flores family (from San Roque)
Friday, July 25 at 23:00h.
Experience the fresh, modern energy of Cristian de Moret (from Cádiz), known for pushing the boundaries of traditional flamenco with his innovative style.
Saturday, July 26 at 22:30h.
The big day! A spectacular finale awaits with performances by acclaimed flamenco singer Jesús Méndez, (from Jeréz) joined by the exceptional guitarist Pepe del Morao. Also performing is Ana “La Yiya” from La Puebla de Cazalla, accompanied by Niño Martín on guitar. The festival, as is traditional, will close with dancing. This year we will enjoy a powerful dance performance by María Távora.
All events will take place in the Plaza del Santo Niño.
