ORGANIZE YOUR OWN CELEBRATION
CASTILLO DEL ÁGUILA
If you want to celebrate your wedding in Gaucín and you want to do it in a unique and truly unforgettable setting, there is the possibility of celebrating the ceremony at “El Castillo del Águila”. The El Águila castle, of Roman origin, maintains part of the walls and the Torre de La Reina or Bell Tower, from where you can see the entire Genal valley, Campo de Gibraltar and the mountains of North Africa. Inside is the Hermitage of Santo Niño. Built in the 17th century
with precious plasterwork forming stucco rosettes on the dome and side chapel. It is here where the image of the Holy Child is placed. To be able to celebrate your ceremony in the castle, you must apply at least 6 months in advance, to the diocese of Malaga and this can be done through the village parish priest.

LA HERRIZA

HOTEL LA FRUCTUOSA
Located in the heart of the town, the Fructuosa has an ideal terrace with views of North Africa, where you can celebrate the reception of your event. The La Fructuosa hotel has a long history behind it. Going back to its origins at the beginning of the 20th century, in what was then the La Española pension. Over time it has been converted into a beautiful rural hotel with capacity for 16 people.
The restaurant is run by Antonio and Virginia who have years of experience and who can adapt to your needs, from drinks receptions to buffets or elaborate formal meals. They will work with you to ensure that your event is a success.
